How to Chalk Paint a Small Dresser

Meet AnnaBelle,
This once loved lady was rescued from the back corner of a lonely, dark storage shed. She had lived a long, quiet life and somehow got lost in the shuffle. It was finally time to let her true beauty shine! The goal of this  makeover was to freshen her coat and bring her into modern day.

We used Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint’s Fluff to brighten her overall tone!

We all have some bumps and bruises and AnnaBelle was no different. We used Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint Coffee Bean to accentuate all of her well loved marks! Coffee Bean was just the right tone to disguise and beautify any blemishes!

Her natural top was beautiful and stood out from the beginning! She did not need much assistance with this area! We choose to completely use all of her natural beauty on top by applying a Thin layer of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral water based Best Dang Black wax! It didn’t take much more than a fresh touch to help her true beauty shine.... and man does she shine!

AnnaBelle's Transformation was fast, easy and successful! You will no longer find her hiding in the back of a storage but rather front and center for all to see in her new home!

At the end of the day AnnaBelle is a perfect reminder to us all that some times there is actually a diamond hiding in the room... you just have to give it an opportunity to shine!

We encourage you to look around your room, find an Annabelle waiting to shine, Grab Some Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint and help her step into her story!

Thank you so much for the tutorial! These are the best instructions ever. I love your painted pieces but have yet to try painting one of my own – perhaps now, with such wonderful instructions, I will finally try!
